Meet Our Most Talented Wedgwood Cockers!

Meet Stewie!

Stewie is a little runt who I hand raised. He is the son of our Ebony and Champion Georgie. When Stewie was born his mother Ebony accidentally caused a laceration on his tiny head. He lost a lot of blood and was very weak. I fed him with a tiny 1cc syringe until he was strong enough to take a bottle. I had to feed him every hour, so I snuck him to work in my “lunch bag”. I work in the hospital. It wasn’t long before my secret was out. Stewie became hugely popular with the staff. They spoiled him and kept him warm between feedings. He spent most of his first 11 weeks at work with me in our department. Many of the staff wanted to adopt him. When it was time for him to go to his new home, thankfully the best person for him, agreed to take him. Tammy had 2 big dogs and had evented with horses. I knew she would give him the best home. Stewie had quite an attitude. He needed someone who wouldn’t baby him but raise him like a dog. Tammy spent countless hour with this very smart dog and he is now a Champion Agility Dog! I am so proud of him and forever grateful to Tammy for giving him such a great life.
